Inquiry from Anne Williams (republished from Q&A group)
Help please in finding lineage information
Hello fellow Chapman descendants!
My name is Anne Williams and my husband, Curtis Williams, we believe, is a descendant of Joseph Chapman, American Revolution patriot. I am having some difficulty with finding documentation that:
John Martin Chapman (1770-1850) is Joseph Chapman's son
That John Martin Chapman had a son Jackson Chapman (1815-1881)
Who was Jackson Chapman's mother? There are (3) contenders that we have found: Christina "Diana" Tucker Conseenee, Nancy Pulliam, and Elizabeth Eichelberger. (From what we have found, we do not think Christiana "Diana" is Jackson's mom but could be mistaken.)

I am interested to confirm my descent from Giles Robert Chapman, 1702-1789 and Sarah Jackson, 1710-1789. They came from England to Virginia, then to South Carolina. Giles was a prominent Quaker. I believe my line is through Giles’ son:
Samuel Chapman Sr. 1735-1790 and Nancy Hannah 1740-? SamuelChapman Jr. 1762-1855 and Mary Ann Burrenn 1780-?
Giles Mathis Chapman 1796-1865 and Elizabeth Gardner 1807-1900
Louis Otis Chapman 1828-? and Margaret Ellen Odom 1835-1890
William Giles Chapman 1854-1891 and Sarah Emma Webb 1851-1879
William Lee Chapman 1875-1963 and Jessie Verbina Williamson 1889-1942

Hello I am new here and have recently found out after fifty two years that I am not who I thought I was. It turns out through ancestry.I found out my true ancestry. My great-great-grandfather was Estal Dale Chapman. Does anyone here know anything about this man? I have found the basics like birth date, death date, where he grew up, but I don't know anything else. I would love to connect to people that are direct descendants and thereby related to me. I appreciate any help you can offer.
Familysearch.org tells me that on 6 Oct 1914 in Cuyahoga County OH he married Celia M Striegel who was 21 yrs old and born in Cleveland OH. Estal was born in Farmer OH and occupation was Agent.
He registered for WWI in June 1917 while living in Cleveland OH. His occupation at the time was Salesman for Wm Taylor and Sons. He was of medium height, slender in build, had grey eyes and brown hair.
Good luck in your search.
The following from our website would NOT confirm that your John Martin Chapman is the son of Joseph Chapman 1745- 1836, IMO https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gEgZ9NGst9PP5srnsJof-N0RQ7yguc-F/view
