Help please in finding lineage information

Hello fellow Chapman descendants!

My name is Anne Williams and my husband, Curtis Williams, we believe, is a descendant of Joesph Chapman, American Revolution patriot. I am having some difficulty with finding documentation that:

  1. John Martin Chapman (1770-1850) is Joseph Chapman's son

  2. That John Martin Chapman had a son Jackson Chapman (1815-1881)

  3. Who was Jackson Chapman's mother? There are (3) contenders that we have found: Christina "Diana" Tucker Conseenee, Nancy Pulliam, and Elizabeth Eichelberger. (From what we have found, we do not think Christiana "Diana" is Jackson's mom but could be mistaken.)

ANY guidance that could be shed on these inquires would be MOST appreciated!!

Is this Joseph Chapman of Pickens County, SC b. 1745 d. 1836?

Looking for the Edward Chapman of Ipswich work by Philip Ellsworth

I'd found and downloaded an extensive PDF here several years ago done by Mr. Philip Ellsworth that was of great assistance in what had been a brick-wall (*) of a decade. Is it still available? Thank you.

Edward, Symon, Jospeh, Moses, Uriah, William, Asenath (*) Christian, Sarah, John, Charles

Curious to know whether you found the Ellsworth resources? Phil actually published his work and brought a copy of it to our Convention last year in Salt Lake City. I too am descended from Edward of Ipswich, determined by family Y-DNA. The CFA has an active E1b1 study group working to solve those brick walls. Unfortunately, I've not yet committed research time so I've not solved my brick wall. Curious to know whether you are also part of it. Nadine 5/9/2025
