Gerald Shelton Chapman
My cousin and I are trying to fill our family tree. We do not know much about the Chapman side, except for what we have been told over the years.
My grandfather's name was Gerald Shelton Chapman and he married Gwendolyn Imagene Short in 1946, he was 20 yrs old and she was 16.
My grandfather's side is hard for us to figure out for there are so many Chapmans.

Giles Chapman
I have recently used ancestry.com for family history, and I believe I have traced my lineage all the way back to England to a Giles Chapman. That is all I can get. I have a family cemetery in S. C. They association could probably give me a little insight to the history. Chapman, ODELLGA 2/20/1923 - 6/24/1989 This was my grandfather. His son was Sherman Chapman.

* William Chapman is the eldest son of Joseph Chapman whose parents were Giles Chapman and Sarah Jackson.
The Martin Family documentation for birth, marriage and death yrs not accurate.
