MEMBERSHIP

The Chapman Family Association is comprised of a group of individuals who have an interest in Chapman surname history and genealogy.  Our mission is to meld traditional Chapman genealogical research, the tools of modern genealogy, genetic genealogy and the benefits of “Chapman” focused collaboration to assist our members in the furtherance and documentation of their Chapman family lines.

   

CFA Membership benefits include:

• A subscription to the Chapman Family Association Periodical which contains member furnished stories, genealogies, photographs, and articles of interest to the Chapman community.  Also a list of inquiries that have been submitted to the CFA.

• Access to the Chapman Family Association Website which provides on-line access to:

  • CFA member provided lineages and identifies a Family Manager for each Chapman line

  • Past CFA publications

  • A number of genealogical resources such as the Chapman DNA Project and other essential resources

• The ability to add new Chapman lineages for online access including specific lineage documents, photos, research notes.  This feature is useful in assisting other researchers as well as to archive such materials for future researchers.
