Where did your ancestors migrate from?
Hello everyone!
I'm putting a together a presentation for this June's Chapman Family Association conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The topic is Major Migrations from Europe to the American colonies/United States from approximately 1620-1920. I'd love to hear your ancestor's story - and not necessarily just your Chapman ancestors. Please reply with where in Europe (town, region, country) they emigrated from, where in North American they went to, when, and why (if you know). I'd love to include some of your ancestors in my presentation!
Thanks in advance!

My ancestral line can be traced back to Robert Chapman b. ~1675 d. 1749 in Baltimore County, MD. Robert first appears on the Elk Ridge Hundred Tax list in 1704, but there is no indication where he came from. Based on autosomal DNA he was probably from England.
