abt 1832 Saluda S.C. 18 April 1912 Aiken, S.C. Don't know his parentage brick wall. Mother is Mary Chapman abt 1800 S.C.
Wife is Catherine Turner 13 Aug 1834 S.C. -7 July 1915 Aiken, S.C.

Hi Joan,
Glad to hear from a distance namesake, but I'm afraid we have no visible connection. My family is allegedly from Rhode Island in the late 1800's, migrated to New York and settled in Otsego County (Fly Creek, Schuyler Lake).
Good luck. I have hit a 20 year brick wall with my gr-gr grandfather, Nathaniel. It is frustrating.
